About Assets with no tags
Updated over a week ago

The assets with no tags feature allow you to quickly update assets—such as images, videos, and ad copy—within our platform. By toggling off the tagging requirement, you can streamline the process of managing and deploying these assets across all campaigns without the need for specific tagging.

Features

1. Enhanced efficiency:

You can skip tagging fields and deploy assets across all campaigns, significantly reducing the time spent on manual tagging and enabling faster go-live times.

2. User flexibility:

You have more control over asset distribution, with the option to apply assets universally across campaigns or customize them for specific target groups.

3. Improved user experience:

The simplified workflow leads to increased satisfaction, especially if you frequently update ad creatives and need to deploy them quickly without extensive tagging.

💡How the feature works

You can use the assets with no tags feature to manage and deploy assets without mandatory tagging.

Instructions

1. Toggle feature:

You can access the "Assets with No Tags" functionality via the Asset Library during bulk upload or in the asset edit modal.

2. Toggle ON:

  • Functionality: When the toggle is turned ON, tagging fields are disabled. The system skips validation, and the asset will be used for all campaigns.

  • Use Case: This is ideal if you need to update images, videos, or ad copy quickly without assigning tags for minor groups, profiles, or companies.

3. Toggle OFF:

  • Functionality: When the toggle is OFF, tagging fields are enabled, requiring you to select appropriate tags (minor group, profile, company, channel). The asset will then be used only for the selected tags.

  • Restoring tags: Any previously entered tagging information is stored and restored when the toggle is turned back OFF, allowing you to retain your customization if needed.

  • Specific tagging flexibility:
You can selectively choose to skip tagging for certain elements, such as 'link description,' which often remains consistent across jobs. For example, you can opt to use the same link description across all campaigns while tagging the 'Messages' or 'Headlines' field with specific minor groups.

4. Channel tagging requirement:

While the toggle feature allows skipping most tags, the channel tag remains mandatory. This ensures that assets are validated against the selected channels, maintaining compatibility and performance standards.

Outcome:

Once the toggle is set, the assets will be applied as per the toggle settings during campaign creation. You can preview and deploy the assets directly from the Create Campaign page.

❗️This feature applies to images, videos, and ad copy. However, logo and lead form tagging are not included in this functionality.
