Image Overlays
Updated over a week ago

πŸ“˜ The image overlay feature will allow you to customise overlays for your image assets inside the Wonderkind platform. This feature eliminates the need for manual overlay customisation, streamlining the process. The overlays can supplement your image assets to include information such as job title, company name, location, and call-to-action buttons.

Key features:

Customisable overlays: Allow you to create and customise overlays for your images directly within the Wonderkind platform, eliminating the need for you to make overlays manually.

Inclusion of dynamic tags: Overlays have dynamic tags corresponding to details such as job title, company name, location, and call-to-action buttons that reference the data form your XML datasource.

Saving overlays: Once you save your customised overlays, these will be stored in your Asset Library. Each workspace is limited to one overlay, which will be applied to all campaigns within that workspace.

How it works:

1. You can find the image overlay feature in the Asset Library

2. Click Actions ➑️ Create new , then select from the three available templates

πŸ” Choose a template that best matches the visual style and branding of the company.

3. Customise your overlay from the menu on the side, customisation options include overlay colours, text colours, font style and the call-to-action button.

πŸ” Ensure that the text on top of the overlays is clearly visible against the background image for better readability.

πŸ“ Note:

  • Colours can be customised using a 6 digit colour hexcode or using the colour picker by clicking on the coloured square.

  • Font is selected from the drop-down menu.

  • CTA button has fixed values that are selected from the dropdown menu.

  • Text within the overlay will scale-to-fit. This means the text can become smaller in fonts size to fit the dynamic tag on the overlay.

4. Save your overlay and it will appear in your Asset Library. You can edit your overlay by selecting it and using the Actions button.

πŸ“ Note:

  • Only one overlay can be used in a workspace. The overlay will be used for all campaigns in that workspace.

  • The dynamic tags included in the overlay always stay the same: Company, Job Title, Location, and Call-To-Action-button.

  • Image overlay works for dynamic ads and single job campaigns for both Meta and Google.
